Safe Spot
Good for coping skills, relaxation and distraction techniques.
Keeping students safe online at home and in school.
Whatever the difficulty that you are experiencing, you are not alone and we are here to support you, through provision within school, or putting you in touch with external agencies. It is vitally important to us that every child at Burnley High School has someone they trust that they can talk to, which is the most important first step. We do all we can to ensure that the young people in our care do not suffer in silence and alone.
In Burnley High School, you have access to many members of staff, ranging from your form tutor to Senior Leadership. It is important that if you are struggling, worried and just not feeling yourself that you find a member of staff that you feel you can trust and confide in. All of the staff in our school family are here to help and support you so that you are able to grow and develop.
We have a lot of support available in school and we can refer you to these should you wish to access them.
